Bradbourne RDA

Bradbourne RDA is a member group of the Riding for the Disabled Association, based at Bradbourne Riding and Training Centre in Sevenoaks, Kent. Its purpose is to give people with disabilities the opportunity to ride or drive horses and ponies, supporting therapeutic benefits, personal goals, achievement and enjoyment. The group works with people across a wide range of disabilities, ages and backgrounds.

Bradbourne RDA offers riding and carriage-driving sessions, as well as summer camps. Its facilities include an indoor school, fields and woodland, and its carefully selected horses and ponies are suited to RDA work. More than 100 volunteers, including 10 coaches, help deliver activities and care for the animals. The group has over 200 registered riders and carriage drivers, with more than 120 participating each week.

Fundraising events and donations help support the care of the ponies and the group’s activities. Bradbourne RDA also welcomes volunteers and provides ways for supporters to contribute through initiatives such as Easyfundraising. It has achieved the Charity Excellence Framework Quality Mark.
