Ontario Minor Hockey

South Simcoe Minor Hockey Association (SSMHA) is a community hockey organization serving players and families through programs in the South Simcoe area. Its teams compete under three local identities: the South Simcoe Storm, Bradford Bulldogs, and Innisfil Winterhawks. The association offers a range of playing options across age groups and skill levels, including competitive A, AA, BB and B teams, house league, local league, and a First Shift program for U5 participants. Families can find registration information for players and volunteers, evaluation and tryout schedules, age-group guidance, and coach resources through the association’s website.

SSMHA also supports the people who make youth hockey possible with resources for coaches, trainers, managers, referees, and bench staff. Information covers player pathways, safety and risk management, codes of conduct, medical forms, permits, and financial assistance. The organization coordinates tournaments, shares team news and scores, and provides access to arenas, equipment rental, unused ice slots, and event information.
