Bradley Five

Bradley 5 Charitable Fund Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established in memory of Bradley Hollar, whose death was attributed to a blood clot linked to the inherited Factor V Leiden mutation. The organization works to improve understanding and treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary emboli, and other blood-clotting conditions. Its mission is to support research, education, and greater awareness, with a focus on genetic factors, early detection, safer medicines, alternative treatments, and the pursuit of a cure.

The fund raises contributions to advance research and clinical trial efforts, and to help bring blood-clotting disorders to the attention of medical professionals. It also offers scholarships to students at accredited colleges pursuing studies in medicine, pharmacy, clinical research, hematology, genetics, and related fields. Scholarships may also support marketing or business studies connected to medical devices or pharmaceuticals. Through these efforts, Bradley 5 aims to encourage future research and equip the next generation of professionals to address blood-clotting disorders.
