Braewview

Braeview Stock Horse Stud is a family-owned Australian Stock Horse breeding operation based near Warwick on Queensland’s Southern Darling Downs. Established in 1991, the stud aims to breed versatile horses with strong type, good temperaments and trainability, including horses suited to campdrafting. Its website shares information about the stud’s stallions, progeny, sales and campdrafting.

Braeview offers stallions at stud and gives priority to the care of outside mares, accommodating their individual needs where possible. Visiting mares have access to safe yards and electric-fenced paddocks, as well as specialist equine veterinary support for breeding advice, reproductive health examinations and ultrasound pregnancy testing. A purpose-built, undercover veterinary crush is available to help procedures be carried out safely.

Additional services include foaling down for selected clients and producing well-handled yearlings for auction. The stud also promotes access to “Champagne” bloodlines on a “Beer” budget. Together, these offerings reflect Braeview’s focus on breeding, horse care and practical support for Australian Stock Horse owners and breeders.
