Brama Epok

Fundacja Brama Epok is a Polish foundation dedicated to educating children and adults about history, cultural heritage, and national heritage. Registered in 2019, it was founded by Joanna and Grzegorz Kalenik, who studied archaeology at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and have experience in historical education. The foundation brings the past to life through engaging lessons, historical reenactments, artistic and educational events, and hands-on workshops.

Its activities are available to schools, preschools, educational institutions, other organizations, and audiences at outdoor events. Sessions can also take place at the fortified settlement in Grudusk, in northern Mazovia. Workshops are grounded in scientific knowledge, adapted to participants’ ages, and supplied with all necessary materials; participants can take their completed work home. The foundation also organizes activities connected with historical periods such as the Middle Ages, including games, demonstrations, and creative projects. Alongside education, it supports initiatives that engage families, children, older adults, people with disabilities, and groups at risk of social exclusion.
