Bramshott Educational Trust is a charitable fund supporting people under 25 who live in the Parish of Bramshott and Liphook, including Liphook, Bramshott, Passfield, Conford and parts of Hammer Vale in Hampshire. Established in 1987 using proceeds from the sale of Bramshott Boys School, the Trust invests its funds and awards grants from the income generated. Its aim is to help young people pursue educational opportunities and activities.
Trustees meet twice a year, in April and October, to consider applications. Grants may support school or college trips, music and ballet lessons, books, specialist tools, equipment, courses and other educational purposes. Applicants must meet the Trust’s eligibility requirements and apply by 15 April or 15 October. Awards are tied to the specific activity or purpose approved; if it does not go ahead, the grant must be returned. For school- or college-organised activities, payment is made directly to the institution.
The Trust shares recipients’ stories to illustrate the impact of its support and welcomes enquiries and donations through its website.
