Branching Out AK

Branching Out Supported Services is an Alaska disability services provider serving Fairbanks, Anchorage, and surrounding communities. The organization supports children, teens, and adults who have approved Medicaid Home and Community-Based Waivers, offering personalized assistance based on each person’s needs and abilities. Its aim is to help individuals build independence, participate more fully in their communities, and lead fulfilling lives.

Services include day habilitation, supported living, supported employment, respite, and in-home supports for people under 18. Day habilitation promotes community inclusion, while supported living provides support in a variety of home-based settings. Supported employment helps individuals develop job skills and pursue employment. In-home supports for children and teens focus on independence and responsibility, and respite offers families and caregivers short-term relief. Branching Out also provides 24-hour support in homes it owns and operates; this service is currently available only in Fairbanks. Through its services in Fairbanks and Anchorage, Branching Out works with individuals and families to provide practical support across home, community, and employment settings.
