The Brandon Moist Scholarship

The Brandon Moist Memorial Scholarship Fund supports students in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, by providing financial assistance to help them begin careers in History and/or Education. The scholarship honors Brandon K. Moist, who attended Lewistown High School and was among the first class to graduate from Mifflin County High School in 2012.

He later attended Shippensburg University, earning a bachelor’s degree in History and International Studies in 2016. The fund’s website provides information about scholarship applications, eligibility, fundraising events, sponsors, and ways to contribute. Its scholarship is available to seniors attending Mifflin County High School, with application details shared through the fund’s website.

Community members can support the fund by making secure online donations, becoming sponsors, or attending its events. These include an annual fall fundraiser and other gatherings, such as a Penn State football tailgate fundraiser. Through scholarships and community participation, the organization aims to help local students pursue educational and career goals while preserving Brandon’s memory
