Brandsma Farm is a working family farm in Canton, Georgia, home to Sugar Pike Alpacas and Georgia Ragdolls. Run by Kim and Robert Brandsma, the farm raises Huacaya alpacas, Ragdoll cats, guardian dogs, and heritage barnyard breeds, combining animal care with breeding, sales, and visitor experiences.
Sugar Pike Alpacas has more than 20 alpacas on rolling Georgia pasture. Its breeding program emphasizes champion genetics, and the farm offers alpacas for sale, herdsires for stud service, and guidance for prospective owners. The herd includes AOA-registered animals, with EPDs and histograms available. Kim and Bob show their alpacas across the country and have earned awards at events including the WI Alpaca & Fiber Fest and TXOLAN.
Georgia Ragdolls is a small TICA-registered cattery producing one to two litters annually. Kittens are raised underfoot, health tested, and never declawed. The farm also welcomes visitors, with tour bookings planned, and shares information about its animals and story online. Customers can explore available alpacas through Openherd and Ragdolls through GoKitty.
