Bransby Horses is a renowned brand and one of the largest equine welfare charities in the UK. With a rich history dating back to 1968, our founder, Peter Hunt, rescued his first horse, Sally, in 1947. Sally's rescue inspired the establishment of our charity, and she became an integral part of our journey.

Today, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of horses, donkeys, ponies, and mules (equines) in need. At Bransby Horses, we provide rescue, rehabilitation, and care to nearly 1000 equines across our two sites in Lincolnshire. Additionally, we work with foster homes throughout the UK, ensuring the welfare of over 600 equines.

Our mission is made possible through the incredible support of the public and the generous individuals who remember us in their wills. Through our work, we create positive impacts on the lives of equines through various initiatives such as advice, learning, and welfare support. We also offer opportunities for visitors to experience and learn about our rescue and welfare efforts.

As a charity, we solely rely on donations from the public, and we sincerely thank our supporters for their invaluable contributions.
