– Bras Coupe Club

Bras Coupe Hunting & Fishing Club is a private wilderness retreat in Quebec’s Laurentian mountains, located on the northwestern bend of Lake Bras Coupe about an hour from Maniwaki. Founded in 1907, the club welcomes guests from May through September for fishing, outdoor recreation, and time with family and friends. Its setting provides access to 28 private lakes, reachable on foot or by portage, where visitors can fish for smallmouth bass, northern pike, brook trout, and other trout. Canoes and outboard motorboats are available for outings, and rugged wilderness trails offer additional opportunities to explore.

The club’s accommodations combine rustic character with practical comforts. Guest quarters include private bathrooms, hot showers, propane heating, and wood-burning stoves. Facilities include a spacious clubhouse with a buffet-style dining room and card room, a six-stall boathouse, a game shed with pool and ping-pong, and a lakeside firepit. Breakfast and dinner are served daily, with packed lunches available for excursions. Bras Coupe offers a secluded, all-in-one setting focused on fishing, relaxation, and outdoor adventure.
