Brass Tacks Comedy

Brass Tacks Comedy is a Scotland-based, female-founded comedy production company championing stand-up comedians and rising talent across the UK and Ireland. It helps audiences discover handpicked live comedy, with shows and tours in cities including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, London and beyond. Its programme features established performers and emerging acts, with opportunities to browse upcoming dates and book tickets.

The company also provides hands-on, artist-first support for comedians at different stages of their careers, from developing an Edinburgh Fringe debut to taking a show on tour. Its services include directing and writing support, show structure, touring route planning, bookings and local promotion. For Fringe productions, Brass Tacks Comedy can assist with venue deals, marketing and street teams, allowing performers to focus on their shows.

Through its work, the company aims to back great comedy from the ground up, produce shows and support underrepresented voices. Comedy fans and performers can also sign up for its newsletter to hear about shows, artists, ticket access and discounts.
