Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Niepełnosprawnym "Bratek"

Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Niepełnosprawnym „Bratek” is a nonprofit association based in Barlinek, Poland, providing educational, therapeutic and social support for people with disabilities and their families. Established in 2003, it brings together parents and professionals involved in education and rehabilitation. The association focuses particularly on children and young people with multiple or profound disabilities, while also supporting adults to develop independence and participate in community life.

Its services include early developmental support and a specialist non-public preschool, operating in Barlinek and Laskowo. The Revalidation and Education Centre provides education, rehabilitation and individual and group therapy for children and young people aged 3 to 25. A vocational preparation school helps young people build practical work skills and prepare for adult life. For adults, the Community Self-Help Home offers occupational therapy, social activation and support for families. Bratek also undertakes projects and activities that promote diagnosis, development and greater independence. The association is funded through membership fees, donations and grants, and has held public-benefit organization status since 2005.
