Bruidsfoto Award

Braut Foto Award is a wedding photography competition initiated by the Braut & Bräutigam magazine and conducted by Alliance Media, a specialist subsidiary of the Scala Crossmedia publishing group. It celebrates outstanding professional wedding photography and helps couples discover photographers capable of capturing their wedding day with skill and creativity. The award supports the visibility and professional development of wedding photography in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium.

Photographers can submit images across ten categories, including Getting Ready, Wedding Couple, Bride, Groom, Kids, Ceremony, Candid Moment, Family & Friends, Pre- and After-Wedding, and Destination Wedding. Winners are selected in each category, alongside an overall winner. A distinctive feature is that couples vote on the nominated photographs. Participation can raise photographers’ profiles, while winning images are published through Brautmedia’s media channels. The award also offers media packages for print, online and social media campaigns, as well as opportunities for professional networking. Its 2026 awards presentation is scheduled to take place online.
