About Brave Living Center
Brave Living Center is dedicated to helping individuals live an authentic life free from the burdens of trauma and distressful experiences. Led by Terri Stockdreher, a compassionate and experienced LCSW and MPH, the center offers trauma-informed therapy to address a wide range of issues such as nightmares, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship conflict. At Brave Living Center, they specialize in treating various traumatic experiences including sexual harassment/assault/abuse, neglect, violence, and attachment wounds, among others.
They utilize evidence-based treatments such as Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy to heal the source of suffering and help individuals live their most authentic lives. Terri Stockdreher's extensive experience includes working with military and veterans at the New Orleans VA Hospital, developing community mental health programs, and specializing in EMDR since 2007. She also offers consultation and advanced trainings on EMDR to mental health providers.
