About @BRAVEST
BRAVEST is a groundbreaking project that emerged from the lessons learned during the SARS-Cov2 pandemic. The project focuses on analyzing the organizational and management procedures in organ donation and transplantation. By utilizing cutting-edge real-world evidence analysis, BRAVEST aims to identify the most effective clinical practice procedures and develop guidelines for sustainable and innovative actions that enhance the resilience of donation and transplantation systems and networks.
The primary objective of BRAVEST is to ensure the continuity of organ supply while prioritizing the safety of donation and transplantation. This project ultimately aims to increase accessibility to transplantation for all patients suffering from end-stage organ disease. Additionally, BRAVEST aims to strengthen future resilience to high-pressure situations such as epidemics, wars, earthquakes, and ecological disasters.
Led by the European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT), BRAVEST is making significant strides in revolutionizing organ transplantation. To learn more about this groundbreaking project, you can view the BRAVEST brochure or sign up for their newsletter. BRAVEST has received funding from the European Union's EU4Health Programme (EU4H).
