About Brave Therapy
Brave Therapy is a leading brand in Sydney, NSW, offering a wide range of mental health and relational services. Led by Andrea Szasz, a highly experienced clinical psychotherapist, Brave Therapy specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. With over 15+ years of experience in the field, Andrea has worked in various settings including hospitals, trauma clinics, and therapy centers.
Brave Therapy takes a holistic approach to healing, providing short, medium, and long-term therapy options. Andrea's extensive background includes working at South Pacific Private, Australia's leading treatment center for addictions and mental illness. She has also served as a Family Therapist, conducted Daring Way™ workshops, and been the Program Director at SPP.
Apart from clinical work, Andrea is a Clinical Associate Lecturer at The University of Sydney, Trauma Informed Psychotherapy Program. She has also worked with organizations such as Wesley Eating Disorder Unit, the Aids Council of NSW, the Wayside Chapel, and Black Dog Institute. Continuously dedicated to professional growth, Andrea is committed to personal development courses, exercise, and martial arts.
She actively engages in supervision by senior psychotherapists and completes more than 30 hours of professional development per year.
