BraveX Aero

BraveX Aero is a Romanian aerospace company designing and manufacturing long-range electric unmanned aircraft systems. Its fixed-wing drones combine vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capability with durable construction using carbon, fiberglass and Kevlar composites. The company began research and development in 2020, with its first UAVs tested in 2024, and brings together professionals with experience in aviation, engineering, composites, software and business.

BraveX aircraft are designed for versatile missions, including border and security monitoring, aerial policing, terrain mapping and photogrammetry, agriculture, environmental observation, and detection of natural or forest hazards. They can also support emergency response through survivor searches using thermal cameras and delivery of medical or other aid packages. Defence training and logistics are additional use cases.

Depending on the model, technical specifications include electric battery propulsion, flight times exceeding 3.5 hours, payload capacity of 7–10 kg, and compatibility with a range of cameras and accessories.
