Bravìo delle Botti di Montepulciano is an exhilarating annual event held from August 22 to August 30, that captivates locals and visitors alike. Celebrated in the charming town of Montepulciano, this unique competition features a thrilling uphill race where eight district teams—Cagnano, Collazzi, Le Coste, Gracciano, Poggiolo, San Donato, Talosa, and Voltaia—compete to roll heavy barrels, each weighing approximately 80 kg, along a more than one-kilometer path through the city's historic streets.

The barrels are pushed by two athletic 'spingitori' who navigate the scenic route culminating at the Duomo in Piazza Grande.
