BRCAStrong is a non-profit organization founded by Tracy Milgram in 2015 with the aim of supporting women affected by breast and/or ovarian cancer. Their mission is to alleviate the emotional and financial burdens faced by these women, regardless of genetic predisposition, through advocacy, direct assistance, empowerment, and events. Initially focused on assisting women with BRCA1 and BRCA2 genetic mutations, BRCAStrong has evolved into a sisterhood of Previvors, Thrivers, and Survivors, offering education, information, support, and advocacy to women who are uninsured or underinsured.
They provide support in the form of post-mastectomy garments, prosthetics, gynecological care packages, and other treatment necessities, all at zero cost to the recipients. BRCAStrong has proudly assisted over 750 women with care packages and garments in 2023. Their vision is to build and unite a sisterhood that no one wants to be a part of, supporting women throughout their journey towards health, positive self-image, and inspired living
