About Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia
BCWA (Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting breast cancer patients and survivors. Established in 1986 by medical specialists, BCWA provides emotional, social, and material assistance to individuals affected by breast cancer. As a member of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), ABC Global Alliance, and Reach to Recovery International (RRI), BCWA strives to reach out to communities and promote early detection and timely medical treatment of breast cancer.
BCWA's vision is to create a world without untimely deaths from breast cancer. To achieve this, their mission focuses on providing education, care, support, and information to individuals regarding early detection, timely medical treatment, and maintaining an optimal quality of life after breast cancer. Their support services include psychosocial recovery, education, and advocacy.
