Breathe London is an innovative air quality monitoring network operated by the Environmental Research Group at Imperial College London. With over two decades of expertise, the network combines scientific disciplines such as air pollution science, epidemiology, and toxicology to assess the health impacts of air pollution. Breathe London offers accessible, affordable air quality sensors known as Breathe London Nodes, developed in partnership with Clarity Movement Co. These compact sensors measure particulate matter and nitrogen dioxide, providing real-time data to individuals and communities.

The network employs a hybrid approach, integrating data from both its sensors and reference-grade monitors from the London Air Quality Network. This rich data resource empowers citizens and local groups to advocate for clean air initiatives and improve community health. The Breathe London shop facilitates direct purchases, while a Community Programme provides fully funded sensors to eligible groups.
