Breathe Maternity Care

Breathe | Maternity Care is a midwifery practice and birth center in Caldwell, Idaho, offering personalized support throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. As Caldwell’s only freestanding birth center, it supports families planning a birth at the center or at home, serving the greater Treasure Valley. Its approach views pregnancy and birth as natural biological processes while emphasizing health, safety, informed choices, and care tailored to each mother’s needs.

Prenatal care includes one-hour appointments to assess mother and baby, build connections, and provide evidence-based education. Services include lab work and screenings, ultrasound referrals, nutritional counseling, childbirth education, holistic and natural remedies, and community resources or referrals when needed. The care team aims to support clients’ birth plans and minimize unnecessary interventions.

After delivery, Breathe provides one-hour postpartum visits from birth through six weeks to help mother and baby transition. Postpartum services include standard lab tests and screenings, lactation support, and referrals as appropriate. Breathe encourages families to make informed decisions and shape a birth experience that reflects their preferences.
