Breezy Hill Stables is a small, family-owned riding stable in Canton, Georgia, serving riders between Canton and Woodstock. Led by Wendy Murphy, the stable offers beginner-friendly horseback riding lessons grounded in natural horsemanship. Its relaxed, non-competitive approach is designed to help young riders, returning riders, and first-time or nervous learners build confidence at a comfortable pace.
Lessons are available for ages six and up, with 30-minute sessions for children ages four to six. Each rider is matched with a suitable horse, including calm, patient horses for beginners. Instruction extends beyond riding: participants learn practical horsemanship skills such as catching, grooming, and tacking up.
Lessons cost $70 and are offered on a pay-as-you-go basis, with no packages or long-term commitment required. Breezy Hill also lists camps among its offerings and provides information about its horses, lesson details, frequently asked questions, and a release form on its website. The stable is located at 345 Sixes Creek Trail in Canton
