Brendans Fund

Brendan's Fund, also known as the Brendan Borek High Tides Memorial Fund, is a grassroots organization dedicated to assisting pediatric cancer patients and their families in Cape May County and Atlantic County. Inspired by Brendan Borek's love for surfing, the fund aims to create High Tides conditions for these families, just like the ones Brendan enjoyed while waiting for the best surfing conditions. In 2015, Brendan's Fund established the Brendan Borek Endowed Fund at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

This endowed fund ensures that present and future generations of pediatric cancer patients in Atlantic and Cape May counties have access to essential services during their illness. These services include food, travel, hotel accommodations, and other forms of support. By collaborating with the Child Life Specialist Team at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Brendan's Fund provides compassionate assistance to families going through the crisis of their child's illness.
