The Brenda & Wesley Charity for Hope and Education, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in honor of Brenda T. Christie and Wesley P. Watson, Sr. The organization carries their legacies forward by expanding educational opportunities and supporting people and families affected by pancreatic cancer. Its mission combines compassion, education, and hope, with a vision of helping children access opportunities to thrive while ensuring that people facing pancreatic cancer can find support and community.

The charity’s cancer initiatives honor and remember those impacted by the disease, raise awareness through education, and offer encouragement and developing resources for patients, survivors, caregivers, and families. Its education work includes financial literacy support through the Bank at School program, long-term student support through a Salesianum endowment, and scholarships for students pursuing higher education.
