Brenthis Zorg is a Rotterdam-based care provider founded in 2018 to help young people and adults move toward greater independence. Its approach balances distance where possible with support close at hand when needed, focusing on people’s abilities and potential. Brenthis offers apartments with guidance for residents who want to live as independently as possible but need ongoing support. Its housing is intended for people including those with a mild intellectual disability, ADHD or autism.

Support is generally funded through the Long-Term Care Act (Wlz), subject to a CIZ assessment and indication. Brenthis works with a personal budget (PGB), and may collaborate with administrators who can help manage that budget. Residents rent apartments below the social housing threshold and may be able to apply for rent allowance.
