Brest Echecs

Brest Echecs is a vibrant chess club located in the Bellevue neighborhood of Brest, dedicated to promoting the joy of chess across all ages and skill levels. Founded by a diverse group of friends united by their passion for the game, the club fosters a welcoming and intergenerational environment. Open to children from the age of 6, teenagers, and adults alike, Brest Echecs encourages players of all abilities—beginners, intermediates, and advanced participants—to come together, play, and learn from one another.

Join us at our sessions held on Tuesdays from 6 PM to 9 PM and Saturdays from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Bellevue Social Center, which is accessible for individuals with disabilities. At Brest Echecs, we believe that practice leads to improvement, and we welcome everyone to share a chessboard and enhance their skills. Emphasizing camaraderie, friendship, and the love of the game, Brest Echecs is more than just a chess club—it’s a community where chess thrives.
