Brewster Village

Brewster Village is a Wisconsin-licensed nursing and rehabilitation community in Appleton, Wisconsin, owned by Outagamie County. It provides short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing services tailored to residents’ medical and social needs. The community’s person-directed approach emphasizes choice, dignity, respect, self-determination, and purposeful living, with residents’ voices encouraged in decisions about their care. Brewster Village aims to create a comfortable, homelike environment, offering private rooms and bathrooms that residents can personalize with belongings from home.

Services include medical care, rehabilitation, and daily life enrichment. Activities may include hobbies, cooking, spiritual services, book clubs, arts, exercise, social gatherings, outings, and community events. Residents live in households of 13 to 14 people, supporting opportunities to build relationships with fellow residents and staff. Brewster Village accepts private payment and insurance, and is certified for Medicare and Medicaid. Admissions are accepted seven days a week, with pre-admission assessments reviewing medical, financial, and social information to determine whether the community can meet an individual’s needs.
