BRF Area Foundation

The Black River Falls Area Foundation is a community foundation connecting generous people with local causes, scholarships, and projects that strengthen the Black River Falls area. Guided by the principle “people helping people,” it helps donors support the issues and communities that matter to them, now and for the future. The Foundation offers ways to give, establish charitable, memorial, or donor-advised funds, and plan future gifts, including through an estate or gifts of property.

It also manages more than 90 funds and provides grant opportunities for local nonprofits and community projects. Students can explore scholarships, including programs serving students from Jackson County schools. Community-focused funds include the Community Impact Fund and education enrichment funds for Black River Falls and the Lincoln School District, as well as the Alma Center-Humbird-Merrillan Area Community Fund.

The Foundation also supports a FRIENDS Giving Circle and provides resources for nonprofits and fundholders. Through donor services, grantmaking, and scholarships, it works to build a stronger, more vibrant future for the places people call home
