Briar Rose Farm

Briar Rose Miniature Goats is a family-run farm in Hindmarsh Valley, South Australia. Established in 2013, it operates a registered Miniature Goat stud and is a proud member of Miniature Goats Australia. Owner Megan selectively breeds quality goats, prioritizing friendly temperaments and productive milking ability. The animals have also been successfully shown, and Megan is a qualified judge. The farm is home to goats, Harlequin Mini Meat Sheep, cows, chickens, ducks and guinea pigs.

Set across 23 acres on the slopes of Mt Billy National Park, Briar Rose grows fresh vegetables, herbs, seasonal flowers, dahlias and foliage. Cut flowers are available to the public, selected retail outlets and florists. Customers can arrange to collect flowers from the farm, and delivery may be available. Livestock is offered for sale, and prospective buyers are encouraged to enquire early. Buyers should have a PIC number before keeping livestock on rural property.

Briar Rose reuses animal bedding and feed waste in its market gardens and encourages local wildlife.
