Briarwood Farm

Briarwood Farm is an equestrian facility in the Pungo area of southern Virginia Beach, Virginia, offering boarding, riding lessons, training, and horse-related services. Managed by Lisa Doczi, the farm describes itself as a smaller barn where horses and riders receive individual attention. Its program specializes in hunters and jumpers, with riders taking part in local Virginia Beach Horse Show Association-rated events, C-rated shows, and USEF A- and AA-rated competitions. The farm also participates in clinics, cross-country schooling shows, and schooling days, balancing competition with an enjoyable riding experience.

Lisa Doczi is Briarwood Farm’s manager and head instructor. A graduate of the Sweet Briar Riding Program, she brings decades of experience in instruction, farm management, rider development, breeding, foaling, and sales consultation. She teaches children and adults, from beginners at walk-trot level through more advanced divisions. Briarwood Farm also lists sales and leases, breeding, and IEA training among its services. The facility welcomes riders of different experience levels and invites prospective clients to arrange a visit.
