Brick Bay

Brick Bay is a destination on the Matakana coast of New Zealand, bringing together contemporary art, nature, food and wine. Set among native bush, vineyards and a lake, its renowned Sculpture Trail offers an immersive walk featuring outdoor works and New Zealand’s largest selection of outdoor sculptures for sale. The programme also includes exhibitions, small sculptures, sculpture consultancy and the Folly competition.

Dining is centred on The Glass House, a restaurant cantilevered over a lake and serving fresh, seasonal contemporary New Zealand cuisine. Its locally inspired dishes suit both casual lunches and special occasions. Brick Bay also operates a boutique vineyard, producing carefully made, limited-release wines that reflect the character of the coastal terroir. Visitors can enjoy the wines at the restaurant or buy bottles to take home.
