About – BRI Counselling
BRi Counselling, founded by clinical social worker and psychotherapist Fola Browne, is a mental health service dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and youth to achieve positive mental health, overall well-being, and success. With over ten years of experience serving clients across various settings and life challenges, Fola brings valuable knowledge and cultural responsiveness to her work. The compassionate and collaborative team at BRi is committed to creating a warm, safe, and welcoming space where clients can express their authentic selves and grow to reach their full potential.
All counsellors at BRi possess professional qualifications, including a degree in Social Work and registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. The team showcases diversity and specializes in working with the Black African and Caribbean Diaspora community, prioritizing anti-oppression, anti-racism, and cultural sensitivity. By focusing on resilience, strengths, hope, and empowerment, BRi Counselling supports individuals in retelling their stories with respect and pride.
