About BridgeMuseum Sydney
BridgeMuseum is a visitor attraction located in the historic South-East Pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It invites people of all ages to explore the bridge’s history through immersive experiences, interactive exhibits, multimedia storytelling and historical memorabilia. The museum traces the Bridge’s story from its construction to its continuing place in Sydney’s living history, set within a distinctive heritage space with harbour views.
Visitors can book Day Sessions or experience SkyHouse After Hours, and can combine a visit with BridgeClimb through a joint package. BridgeMuseum also offers self-guided school visits, school tours, events and team experiences, as well as venue hire for occasions in the pylon. Its website provides information to help guests plan their visit, including directions, accessibility details and FAQs, and offers gift vouchers and online bookings. The museum is accessible from The Rocks via the Harbour Bridge lift or stairs from Cumberland Street. BridgeMuseum also acknowledges the Gadigal and Cammeraygal peoples as Traditional Custodians and recognises the importance of local Aboriginal communities and their stories in the museum.
