Bridport Literary Festival, also known as BridLit, is a literary and cultural festival bringing writers, readers and ideas together in Bridport. Its 2026 programme runs from 6 to 14 November, with events featuring established authors and new voices across a varied range of subjects. The line-up includes conversations, talks and book-focused events with guests such as Mary Berry, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Patrick Gale and Amanda Craig. The festival also introduces KidLit, a dedicated day of stories, activities and adventures for children and families.
