Community Bank Bright Fun Run

Bright Fun Run is a community event in Bright, North East Victoria, bringing people together through running, outdoor activity and fundraising. Established in 2011, it supports Bright P-12 College and welcomes experienced runners, beginners, families and spectators. Participants can choose from three trail distances: the 3km Wandiring Olives run, the 9km Beatson Builders Trail Race and the 18km HVP Clear Spot Classic. The courses offer options for different ages and abilities, with routes through the scenic trails around Bright.

The event is more than a race, with a lively village atmosphere featuring refreshments, food, children’s activities and community entertainment. Local sponsors, volunteers and the Bright P-12 community help make the day possible. In 2025, the event raised more than $25,000 for the college; funds raised in 2026 are intended to support student wellbeing and mental health programs. Bright Fun Run also shares race results and event galleries, celebrates participant achievements and invites the community to return for future events.
