Bright Healthy Futures

Bright Healthy Futures provides wellbeing education designed to help young people build the knowledge, skills and everyday habits they need to navigate adolescence with confidence. Its evidence-informed Year 6 program supports schools with classroom-ready resources and aligns with Australian Curriculum v9 Health and Physical Education outcomes. Developed and delivered by a health professional, the program is psychologist reviewed and includes ready-to-use assessment tasks, teacher-designed marking rubrics and flexible lesson materials.

The five-session program covers three key areas: understanding adolescence, including brain development, emotional regulation, identity and peer pressure; nutrition essentials, such as balanced meals, food labels and ultra-processed foods; and sleep, light and technology, including practical device boundaries. Sessions are designed to engage students in age-appropriate learning and encourage useful conversations in the classroom.

Bright Healthy Futures aims to help students better understand themselves and others, strengthen focus and classroom engagement, develop habits that extend beyond school, and feel more prepared for high school.
