BrightLights Theatre School is the largest independent performing arts school in the East Midlands, catering to children and young people aged 4 to 21. With a successful 12-year history and six schools across Loughborough and Coalville, BrightLights offers top-quality and affordable performing arts training. One of the highlights of the program is the annual production where students get the opportunity to perform on a professional stage with high-quality set, costume, sound, and lighting.
These shows, funded solely by ticket sales, provide an incredible experience for young performers as they showcase their talent to audiences of up to a thousand people. Previous productions include popular classics like Legally Blonde, Chicago, Beauty and the Beast, and Grease. What sets BrightLights apart is the caliber of their teachers, all of whom are professional performers.
Students learn from industry experts who have performed in London's West End and at international comedy festivals. Additionally, the school regularly invites guest teachers from across the industry, providing students with insights from professionals involved in renowned productions such as Les Misérables, The Lion King, and Game of Thrones. Parents appreciate the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at BrightLights, as highlighted by a satisfied parent who stated, My daughter has been a part of BrightLights for two years now and still says that it is the best thing she's ever done.
She loves the teachers and can't wait for Saturday. She comes out buzzing every single week. For more information, you can contact BrightLights Theatre School during office hours or visit their website.
