MD Brightman Farm Goats

Brightman Farm is a family-operated goat farm in Princess Anne on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, specializing in hardy, pasture-raised Myotonic goats. Its chemical-free pasture was developed specifically for goats and planted with seven forage types suited to the region, supporting year-round grazing. The farm reports that its goats are healthy, fast-growing, and raised without regular confinement in barns or stalls.

Brightman Farm currently produces Myotonic goats registered with the Myotonic Goat Registry and aims to register its breeding offspring. It offers breeding stock for meat production, as well as goats for brush clearing and pets. The farm describes Myotonics as muscular, hardy animals with generally gentle temperaments and strong mothering and kid-raising abilities. Featured offerings include does, bucks, and wethers, with animals listed at varying prices.

The farm previously raised Kiko goats and Kiko-Myotonic crosses, but has chosen to focus on Myotonics. Prospective buyers are encouraged to visit and see the goats and their pasture environment.
