Brighton Beach Bikes is a locally operated bike hire and beach shop on Brighton seafront, located beside the coastal cycle path just west of the Pier. The team draws on more than 20 years of experience working on Brighton and Hove’s beaches, offering personal service and practical advice to help visitors choose bikes and plan their rides. The hire fleet includes adult and children’s bikes, tandems, town bikes, cruisers and Trek Hybrid FX1 bikes for longer coastal journeys.

Customers can book bikes online and explore traffic-free routes, including rides towards Rottingdean, Seven Sisters and Worthing. The business also offers guided-by-clues treasure hunts that create self-guided adventures around Brighton, as well as route maps and cycling tips. Additional services include secure storage for bikes and riding gear, plus advice and support for sea swimmers.

Its shop stocks beachwear and essentials such as swimwear, towels and sun cream. Brighton Beach Bikes emphasizes convenient access to the seafront cycle lane, straightforward rentals and friendly, knowledgeable assistance for families, visitors and local riders
