Brighton Chile Fest, formerly known as Denver Chile Fest, is an annual celebration of the chile harvest hosted at Lulu’s Farm in Brighton, Colorado. Billed as the Rocky Mountain Region’s premier chile festival, this one-day event brings together chile enthusiasts, families, local businesses, and visitors for food, entertainment, and community activities. Guests can buy fresh-roasted chiles by the half- or full bushel, pre-order for pickup, or purchase chiles at the festival and have them roasted on site.
The event also offers opportunities to learn about chiles, including how to prepare them, make salsa, and choose peppers for different recipes. Visitors can sample specialty foods, sauces, jams, and jellies, browse artisan crafts and locally sourced merchandise, and enjoy food trucks, craft cocktails, beer, and wine. Live music and family activities such as face painting and a children’s coloring station add to the program.
The festival also welcomes selected food and merchandise vendors through an invitation-based registration process
