Bright Recovery

Bright Recovery is an addiction recovery support service led by Allison Bright, based in Wurtulla on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. It supports people who have experienced at least 30 days of physical recovery and want help sustaining their progress beyond a rehabilitation or retreat setting. The service addresses attachment to substances and behaviours, including alcohol, drugs, food, work, sex and shopping.

Bright Recovery helps clients develop a long-term recovery plan focused on reducing relapse risk and building a rewarding, healthier life. Support may include managing triggers and difficult emotions, developing healthy habits, setting boundaries, communicating with loved ones and exploring factors that contributed to addiction. The approach also encourages people to identify activities and goals that bring joy, confidence and a sense of purpose.

Services are described as confidential and flexible around work and family commitments, with accountability and email and text support. Allison offers support from a person with lived experience.
