Bring Back Packaging

Bring Back is a Belgian circular packaging service that helps make reusable glass packaging practical for producers, wholesalers and consumers. Its industrial washing centre cleans returnable glass containers so they can be used again, offering both a shared “pool” of packaging and contract washing for customers’ own containers. The service covers returnable formats from 25 cl to 1 litre. Producers can arrange washing or access pool packaging, while wholesalers can collect returns or request pickup. Consumers are encouraged to choose products in deposit-return packaging.

Bring Back presents reuse as an alternative to recycling glass, citing lower environmental impacts across the packaging life cycle: its figures indicate 79% less CO2 and 30% less water, with containers reused an average of 25 times. The company also highlights reduced waste, more stable costs through lower energy use, and greater local resource resilience. Its work supports local employment and includes a partnership with Groupe Terre to create opportunities through professional integration.
