Welcome to British School Algiers, the first British school in Algeria offering a British curriculum to students from the age of 4 to 18. Established in November 2020, we are proud to have achieved British Schools Overseas status, reflecting our commitment to delivering an excellent education to our diverse student body of 354 students from 35 countries. At British School Algiers, we prioritize both academic excellence and a global perspective.

Our curriculum is designed to provide stimulating and quality teaching that embraces best international practices. While the medium of instruction is English, we also emphasize the teaching of Arabic and foster a deep respect for Algerian culture. Located in a purpose-built school building, our expanding campus allows us to accommodate more students with the aim of eventually having two classes in every year group.

We are oversubscribed in most year groups, highlighting the high demand for our exceptional educational environment.
