Bharat Rural Livelihoods Foundation (BRLF) is an autonomous body dedicated to improving the lives and livelihoods of the rural poor in India, with a specific focus on women and tribal communities. Registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, BRLF works in partnership with both state and central governments to upscale civil society action. With a commitment to creating positive change, BRLF collaborates with various stakeholders, including government agencies, civil society organizations (CSOs), corporate partners, and knowledge partners.

Through these collaborations, BRLF fosters and facilitates development programs that aim to transform the livelihoods and lives of people across India. Supported by a corpus fund of ₹500 Crore from the Indian government, as well as funds from state governments, banks, the corporate sector, and philanthropic foundations, BRLF is able to implement a range of initiatives. These include state partnerships, special initiatives, grant-in-aid projects, and thematic technical support to CSO partners.

BRLF also engages in capacity building, research, knowledge management, and impact assessment. By working in synergy with diverse stakeholders, BRLF strives to create sustainable and inclusive development in rural areas, empowering communities and fostering change
