About Bull Run Mountains Conservancy
Bull Run Mountains Conservancy (BRMC) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to protecting the Bull Run Mountains region through education, research, and stewardship. Since 1994, BRMC has been promoting the preservation of land on and around the Bull Run Mountains, spanning from New Baltimore to Aldie, Virginia, and the surrounding landscape. At BRMC, we offer a range of educational programs for both adults and children, focusing on the ecological, historical, and cultural features of the Bull Run Mountains region.
Our education program is supported by extensive research, with 29 years of sponsoring and facilitating baseline studies that contribute valuable data to our understanding of the landscape. Our vision is to create an active and healthy community where preservation is a committed endeavor by those who love and care for the Piedmont landscape. By achieving this, we aim to create a healthier environment and community.
Additionally, BRMC hosts various events and provides opportunities for volunteering and news updates. Visit our Mountain House headquarters in Broad Run, VA, just 15 minutes away from Manassas, Middleburg, and Warrenton, Virginia. Join us in our mission to protect and conserve the Bull Run Mountains region for future generations
