Broad Haven Playgroup

Broad Haven Playgroup is a CIW-registered, not-for-profit charity based in the seaside village of Broad Haven, Pembrokeshire. It provides term-time preschool care in a friendly setting, with fully qualified staff supporting children’s play, learning and social development. Sessions run Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 1pm.

The playgroup offers a varied programme of early-years activities, including art and craft, construction, sand and water play, adventure play, music and movement, and books and stories. Children can play and learn indoors, in a secure garden, and on the nearby beach, making use of the local seaside environment. The organisation aims to provide a stable, secure and relaxed space where parents and carers feel comfortable leaving their children.

Broad Haven Playgroup is overseen by a voluntary committee of parents. As a charity, it reinvests profits and fundraising in its facilities and equipment, helping keep fees competitive. The playgroup accepts eligible children under the Childcare Offer for Wales, which can provide up to 30 hours of free childcare per week for eligible parents and carers.
