Broad River Systems develops Momentum software, a managed file transfer (MFT) platform designed to help organizations move data securely and efficiently. The company says it pioneered Windows-based MFT more than 25 years ago, and its products have supported file transfers for organizations in finance, healthcare, insurance, and fintech. Broad River Systems offers installation, maintenance, product upgrades, and customer support to help clients implement and operate its solutions.

Its flagship product, Automatic File Director (AFD), detects and identifies incoming files, then automates processing through configurable work steps. It supports high-volume transfers and includes historical records, error reporting, retries, and alerts. High Availability Load Balancing AFD (HALB) lets multiple AFD servers run simultaneously for added capacity and redundancy. Other offerings include Secure Web File Transfer for HTTPS-based transfers, SSH server software, and FTP SSL server and client software. The product range also includes tools such as AFD Server Selector, Automated Clearing House applications, Directory Watchdog, and File Mapper. Together, these solutions support automated, secure file exchange across different platforms and protocols.
