About Brontë
The Brontë Parsonage Museum and Brontë Society, established in 1893, is one of the oldest literary societies in the world. As a charity, the Brontë Society relies on admissions and the generosity of its members, alongside public funding from Arts Council England. The society manages the renowned Brontë Parsonage Museum, located in the beautiful village of Haworth, West Yorkshire.
This museum was once the home of the famous Brontë family and holds the largest and most important collections of Brontë artifacts in the world. Scholars, writers, and artists are continually inspired by these collections. The Brontë Society is dedicated to promoting the Brontës' literary legacy through a range of activities, including literary events, exhibitions, competitions, and festivals.
Their lifelong learning program reaches students of all ages across the country. By becoming a member of the Brontë Society, you will support their important work in preserving the remarkable legacy of this iconic family. You can join online or during your visit to the Brontë Parsonage Museum
